Principal's Message - April 2010Congratulations, Arlington! We are moving on… It is with such joy, pride, and honor that I would like to announce
that our validation visit went spectacular! The validation team had such
a great time visiting our school and truly enjoyed talking with our
Super Star students, families, and staff! The validation team is making
a recommendation to the County and the State to move our application
forward for the California Distinguished School honor. We should
hopefully hear the official results before spring vacation. Thank you to
the many parents that agreed to serve on the round table meetings with
the validation team. Thank you to our families who came to clean, paint,
sweep, and scrub. Thank you to the PTA hospitality and the other
volunteers who brought in food for the team. Thank you to the businesses Have a great month.

Thank
you to the parents who shared photos for our evidence boards. Thank you
to the volunteers who scrapbooked our many pictures! As my grandmother
says, “many hands make light work” and this team effort sure proved
grandma right! Thank you, thank you, thank you! The validation team
stated in the debrief that it was evident our parents would do anything
for our school and definitely are a vital support for our Learning
Community. We hold such pride at Arlington for our families and extend a
gigantic thank you!
