Principal's Message - April 2008Dear Arlington Parents and Guardians, A special thank you to our outstanding PTA. The PTA Board consists of hard-working, positive, supportive and extremely capable members who always give so willingly of their time, talents and energy whenever and wherever they are needed. Whether it's organizing the Holiday Marketplace, Facilitating the 5 STAR meetings, manning the Bike Rodeo stations, running and collating papers for teachers, running and collating the PIP papers or working the Book Fair, our PTA is always there to help. Parents have been so supportive of our fundraising efforts and your contributions have been greatly appreciated. Our success is dependent upon all the wonderful resources and assistance you provide. A special thank you to Miho Noda, our PTA President. Her dedication and caring for the children at Arlington Elementary School has been an impressive model for others. Her hard work, her warm, supportive way of getting the most out of others, and her willingness to take on any task and get it done have been signs of her very effective leadership. We all appreciate the hundreds of volunteer hours she has contributed to this school and thank her for her past two years of excellent leadership and strong child advocacy. Mrs. Noda's fifth grader Collyn will be headed on to Casimir next year. We will miss Mrs. Noda's presence but we will fondly remember the difference she has made in the lives of our students, staff and community. A GRAND THANK YOU TO MRS. MIHO NODA.
