Principal's Message - January 2010
Dear Arlington Families and Friends,
Happy New Year! I want to extend my sincere appreciation for all of
the thoughtful wishes, cards, and gifts before the vacation. It is
honestly gift enough working at such a fabulous school! I hope your 2010
started positively. January looks to be an incredibly busy month as
there are many things scheduled. . .be sure to watch the calendar
section of the Super Stars weekly.
Wednesday, January 13th is our mock Earthquake Drill. The school will
be "shaking" and responding from approximately 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. that
day. The only gate that will be available will be the gate on 178th
Street.
Our 4th and 5th Grade Family Math night will be on Thursday, January
21st. at 6:00 p.m. Progress reports will be coming home at the end of
the month. Believe it or not it has been six weeks since the last
reporting period.
Finally, January 29th is a Student Free Day. Teachers will be in
inservices throughout the district that day. So please make child care
arrangements if you need to.
Have a great week.
